Hi Everyone -

My Summer schedule is beginning to take shape. I have six confirmed festivals and three pending festivals. Here is a list of my confirmed shows and I will post information on additional shows at a later date.

Over the last several months I’ve been spending some time learning more about some of the social networks. I’m more comfortable with Facebook and Twitter than I have been in the past and I’m still learning how to make the networks work for me and my customers.

I’m also looking at other networks, but for now I can be found on Facebook and Twitter. Here are my links if you’d like to take a look.

Late Night Bid’ness

A few years ago while in a hotel in San Antonio, TX, I was sitting on the floor in the hallway taking pictures because I liked the symmetry of the lights. The color of the lights and the hallway itself were a bit dingy and in each picture there seemed to be something missing. As I was changing the settings on the camera, a man came out of a room while talking on the phone. I really didn’t have time to double-check the settings so I just framed the picture and got off a quick shot before he moved too much.

The first version of this photo was in b&w, but I wanted a slightly different mood.

Busy Start, sort of…

2012 is off to a busy start for me. Not shooting as much as I need to, but my time has been spent doing a lot of marketing, experimenting and reading. Hopefully, my efforts will pay off with a successful and productive year!

I started the year with a New Year’s day trip to Naples, Florida for some R&R. The weather during the week ranged from the upper 70s to a Minnesota-like upper 30s. That was fine because I love palm trees and sunshine, especially in the winter!

“Wedding Tree”

This photo was taken on a recent tour and tasting at Chateau St. Croix Winery in St. Croix Falls, WI. The winery does host several events throughout the year, including weddings. When the weather is good, weddings are held under the Wedding Tree.
